Conveniently situated within easy reach of Northern England's most beautiful scenery and historic sites, including the North Pennines, Yorkshire Dales, Durham Cathedral, Barnard Castle, Richmond, Hadrians Wall, Newcastle and the Lakes. Locally there is an abundance of walking and cycling routes through peaceful lanes and quiet limewashed hamlets with everything from a Michelin-starred restaurant, to welcoming local pubs, restaurants, farm shops and cafes.
